TextToMeme provides a free, browser-based tool that matches a line of text to an original meme layout and renders a downloadable image. The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

Layouts and your captions

All layouts on this site are original canvas recreations inspired by classic meme formats; they are not the original photographs and are not affiliated with any meme's originators. Your captions are your own content: you keep your rights in them, and you are responsible for what they say — including not defaming anyone and not implying endorsement by any real person or brand.

Acceptable use

Do not use the tool to create content that harasses or threatens identifiable people, or that infringes someone else's rights. Meme formats referenced by name are cultural references; nothing here grants rights in third-party trademarks or works.

Pro

A Pro plan is described on the pricing page as coming soon. It is not sold today, no payment is collected, and these terms will be updated before any paid tier launches.
